What is Nice Dream?

In November of 2020, Trevor and I (me, hi, I’m Coral!) traded pizza rats for Joshua Trees. Stunned by availability of produce year round despite—or perhaps in spite of—our seemingly inhospitable surroundings, we started experimenting with hyper-seasonal ice creams & sorbets. It became our nice dream to bottle up this seemingly impossible magic our local farmers and producers were pulling off, and in turn, return that sweetness back into our new home: our desert community. We’ve been vending at the Joshua Tree Farmers Market since 2021, and have been hard at work on our brick-and-mortar—which we hope to open to the public this coming Fall. Our menu has since expanded to include pastries and espresso, and at the space, we will have small plates and delicious cocktails to linger over (led by Nice Dream customers-turned-great friends-turned-partners-in-crime: Ren and Jesse).
